TGCCS offers placements for counselling students, giving students the opportunity to gain experience in a range of areas. We have space for students delivering sessions, using integrative and humanistic therapies.

What can I expect during the placement?

• A full induction including safeguarding adults and children training, GDPR, mental health training and access to further training from the BACP learning Hub opportunities.
• Commitment to supporting up to three clients per week
• Monthly group supervision (free)
• Support from Therapeutic Services team
• Ongoing support and collaboration with your training institute
• DBS Enhanced Checks
• 2-year placements
• Commitment to a minimum of one-year work with clients.
• Commitment to 30 minutes fortnightly group supervision and an hour individual monthly with TGCCS.
